West Coast Tour

April 10- May 1, 2020

What We’re Up To

We are Resistance Company and Tae Phoenix; anti-fascist musical artists who met during the January 2020 Remove Trump protests in Washington, DC. We are teaming up on a West Coast grassroots tour, moving from community to community with a message of connection, righteous anger, and hope.

Our goal with this tour is to help grassroots advocacy groups raise funds, offer entertainment and inspiration, and facilitate a community conversation about what it’s going to take to save our country this year and beyond.

Get In Touch

We’re looking forward to hearing from you about how we can partner to bring out the musical resistance and raise funds for grassroots advocacy in your community.

It’s especially helpful if you can answer some of these questions so we can determine who we’ll want to raise funds for.

  • Is there a grassroots bond fund for undocumented people who are kidnapped by ICE in your community?
  • How is the Black Lives Matter movement manifesting in your community?
  • How does poverty manifest in your community and who is organizing to advocate for policies to alleviate poverty?
  • What are the problems facing trans and gender nonconforming people in your community and who is advocating to change them?
  • How is your community addressing the climate emergency?

It is also helpful for us to know if we should be looking for a venue (a theatre, club, or coffee shop) or if someone in your group would be willing to host a house concert for us. We prefer to keep things as grassroots as possible, so house concerts are our preference.
